Good Bye BEST RE, finally!

Blog's last update was like, aahh... I cant remember myself... I am a bad blogger! I can seem to handle updating my blog regularly :-(

Well, forget about that, lets go ahead with some news flash (so-called yah!).

oooh Boi! So many things had happened... for a start, the firm which I have dedicated my 13 years of hard work, energy, ideas and all is now going down, they are closing down. At first I decided to just work here till the end of it, but after several months of serious thinking, I have decided to quit and focus on my Vivalova. Well, I believe things happen for a reason, rite? This is major for me, I have been working here for 13 years (YES, freaking 13 years!) and the day I tendered my 3 months notice of resignation, mix feeling ;-( but for whatever its worth, I have made my decision, there is nothing left here for me to wait for, its now time to concentrate on my own legacy and polish my passion.

29th December 2014, would be the day I finally free as a bird, I am excited but afraid at the same... there will no longer a monthly salary, big fat EPF contribution, health and insurance coverage, etc. No more waking up in the morning, getting shower, going to work, get coffee and mingle with co-workers. It's now like work at your own time, regardless of day or night, catching up with datelines, meeting people, do the bookeeping, marketing... all by myself. Hard as it may sound but I guess its all gonna be worth it, cuz at the end, it's my very own empire and I have all my seconds and minutes for myself, my clients and my family.

I cant wait for the new journey, although I am a little pressured ;-)

Vivalovian's Potluck BBQ Gathering

At a very last minutes, we manage to pull it together although some of our Vivalovians could not make it, but that is alright, cuz we are going to make another one hopefully soon.

this coconut puding is from Shyful, our newest Vivalovian, he joined us not very long ago but already have contributed to a few outstation jobs. He could not make it to the BBQ but still sent his coconut puding for us to enjoy. Thanks Shylion!

..and this delicious Cheesy Fruity Tart is from Esmone's oven. Holly molly! it is so delicious. I love it! .... bake more EJ! You are going to make fat!!!

This is also from Esmone's kitchen but we were all too loaded to fit in this into our tummy decided to eat this later. Smells so good only that it would be nicer if the potatoes smashed finer.

New Assistant

Today my new assistant, Azizan will start his first assignment, my first assistant now going part time with me cuz she had found a permanent job already, she said she wont quit on me as a gratitude, I am glad, so she is still on call job and will be available to assist me for on site photoshoot on weekends.

Now Azizan or ho co-sign, Ujung... will be helping me in the gallery mostly doing back office job and also some book designing and post- processing. I am glad to have him onboard.

Bah! cerita punya cerita, disini mau share sedikit berita gembira....

at last after 4 years, now Vivalova finally have our own space, not really "owning" cuz we are renting hahahaa...

Ignore that, but seriously we have an official place for meet ups, for showcase our arts, our wedding jobs and more..

We call it Vivalova Squares (The Gallery), sound big, but actually it is not big at all,

the "square" indeed because of the square-ness of the space.

Okay, here is one of our talented VOP (Vivalova Official Photographer), mixing the paint, we are ready to rock the roller and slap the walls. haha...

and here is our VPP (vivalova principle photographer) mem"busy"kan dirinya men-cat dinding "the Thousand Faces" - haaa yang in belum siap lagi... klu mau tau apa tu "The Thousand Faces Wall", jemput la datang ke gallery bila dah siap sepenuhnya.... akan di"announce" tentunya dalam facebook.

To be honest, I cannot wait any longer for this gallery to start operating, I wanted to wait till all  set then I post up but well well, why wait for such a happy news, right?

Tripod Dolly

Just recently I went down to KK in rescue to help TC video-graphing a hardcore gig. Never thought that I would actually enjoy 'videography' but I did!

So yesterday, before we hit the road going back to Labuan via Menumbok Ferry, we dropped by Karamunsing to get some DVD case supplies and as usual we will visit Mega Avit to 'look see look see' and as usual we never fail to do our investment there. Daniel the Branch manager was there and we had a little small talk, he is very nice guy - if u plan to shop there, please look for him - he will surely satisfy your needs.

So, what did we grab this time? It's a Tripod Dolly, will be serving our Videography team. Hang on to your seat cuz in 2012 Vivalova will be coming out with more and more awesome stuffs guys!
